Since she was in my belly, I’ve called my little girl “Tiny dancer.” She has stayed true to the nickname and her favorite tune to jive to is of course, Baby Shark Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo. For her first birthday, she got to celebrate with 2 parties. One was a precious Minnie Mouse theme and in our home. The other was this adorable Baby Shark Party at Nana’s house a few days later. Here is what we did in case you are looking for some ideas!

To begin prepping, I started by making cookies 2 weeks in advance, then stored them in the freezer. Here is the cookie cutter set that I ordered for my sharks:
Then, I came up with the idea to design my own fish cookies and it worked! Watch my YouTube video below to learn how.
We filled the table with plates, napkins, and tiny squirt sharks that were a hit with the kids. Nana gave our baby shark her own singing plush and shark book, which she actually dances to as well! Tip: Go to the dollar store and fill in the gaps with vibrant solid plates and napkins to accent. Amazon (affiliate) makes things so easy to shop without little ones in tow.
The adorable cake that you see was custom made by my super talented sister, so I can’t suggest anything specifically for that. You could always use one of the plates as a model and take it to a local bakery to see what they can do.
And if you want to make it extra special like Nana did, you can order custom shirts!
We actually got ours from Etsy but these look like they would turn out just as great or better:
I hope this has made planning your very own Baby Shark Party easier. At least it’s a good starting point. And be prepared to have the song stuck in your head for about a month. It was so much fun though!
Party On and Keep Shining Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo,
